Medicinal Diet

Food as Medicine

Many herbs are food sources. Goji berries, cinnamon, the skin of oranges, dates, ginger and more. In Oriental Medicine, the nature of the food's properties (temperature) is very important. For example, cinnamon and pepper are warm or hot in nature; therefore, patients who have high internal heat in the body are not supposed to take these foods.

Watermelon is cold in nature and is not supposed to be eaten in wintertime, as it can make the internal organs and body very cold.

We offer advice on how to ingest food the correct way and guide your diet to a healthy state.

1. Miso

Miso is one of the most important dietary staples in Japan. It is made of soy-beans and has remarkable health benefits. Miso is an amazing food; it can prevent hardening of the arteries and can help regulate cholesterol levels. Also, it eliminates active oxygen which causes many illnesses.

Miso is considered high in salt; however, together with vegetables and seaweed (which has a high amount of potassium) the excess salt is neutralized through discharge. Therefore, Miso soup is considered an ideal diet.

(Please eat Organic soy-beans)

2. Haiga Rice

Haiga Rice is one of the most recommended foods. Haiga rice

retains nutritional rice germ. Therefore we are able to have benefits from this part. The contents are rich in Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Fiber, and GABA (Gammar, Amino Butryric Acid).
